In another #MedalMonday feature, runDisney unveiled the 2017 Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend Medals for November! This design is a complete departure (see what I did there? World Showcase? Travel? hehe) from prior years, and are designed to look like travel items, such as passports and luggage tags.

The rebranded 5K is now called the “Disney Fall Feast 5K” (formerly known as Mickey’s Holiday 5K) and the medal features a fall design, including Mickey with a turkey!

The Disney Wine & Dine 10K (no longer Chef Remy’s 10K) features a luggage tag design! According to the Disney Parks Blog, participants “can earn one of three travel-themed medals” – does this mean there is more than one design not shown?

The Wine & Dine Half Marathon medal is shaped like a plane ticket:

And finally, the “Disney Two Course Challenge” (formerly Lumiere’s Two Course Challenge) medal is designed to look like a passport, featuring the original Epcot brand seal, in celebration of Epcot’s 35th anniversary.

As a reminder, here is last year’s 2016 Wine & Dine Half Marathon medal suite:

runDisney has overhauled many of last year’s Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend event themes and names, bringing in a fresh, new design. What do you think? Which medal will you be earning?

Until next time, #WillRunforDisney!

Nice to see your blog. Very interesting topics for us runners 😃 Let me tell you, my husband and I are going this year to run on a Disney race. In fact we are going to run the two course challenge in Orlando, on november this year and it will be our first time running on Disney ever. We are training with a lot of enthusiasm for that Challenge. We are from Panama. It is very nice to read everything about disney's races to learn things and tips so I am pleased to say hello to you and thank you for your writings about running in Disney.
