The 2018 Epcot International Food & Wine Festival begins today! Hooray!
My family and I first visited Walt Disney World in October 1999. Between the Millennium Celebration and all of the international food booths, I quickly fell in love with the Epcot festival atmosphere. Things certainly looked different back then!

As I mentioned in my last post, Tommy and I just got back from our Halloween/late October trip to Walt Disney World! Last year after the Wine & Dine Half Marathon we vowed to take a fall trip this year in order to experience Halloween and go to Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. While I consider myself a WDW expert, I had never actually attended the halloween festivities before (and had to change that ASAP!) Here’s a highlight reel of our adventures with pictures:

I hope everyone is having a great late-August. I spent the weekend at our family’s lake house and had a sunny, relaxing weekend. I’m attempting to soak up every last bit of summer!
Can you believe the Disneyland Half Marathon Weekend is NEXT WEEK!? I don’t know about you, but I’m ready for the runDisney 2017-2018 calendar to begin! Also happening next week is the opening of Epcot’s International Food & Wine Festival and the first Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party of the season! I can’t believe the Disneyland Half Marathon weekend is only 3 weeks away! I’ve had a countdown on my phone since the days remaining were in the triple digits — and finally, we’re in the home stretch!
In this post, I’m going to talk about some of the things my husband Jake and I have on our to-do list at Disneyland (and beyond)…
Who else is already as excited as I am about the 2017 Epcot Food & Wine Festival?!
While I won’t be participating in this year’s Wine & Dine Half Marathon weekend, Tommy and I will be heading to F&W in October to sample small plates and beverages from around the world. We can’t wait! There will be plenty of time to celebrate the 22nd annual Food & Wine Festival this year: 75 days to be exact! The longest celebration to-date, beginning August 31 and running through November 13.
Part of the Food & Wine tradition is knowing the “Eat to the Beat” concert series lineup, the musical acts presented on the America Gardens Stage in The American Adventure pavilion in Epcot. Solo artists and bands from the 70s through the 90s (and now early 00s!) will be part of the fun. Walt Disney World Resort JUST announced the concert lineup here and below:
