As promised runDisney made an announcement today, June 1, following a scheduled delay to enhance the race registration process ahead of the 2018-2019 race calendar. Disney Parks Blog just unveiled the 2018 Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend medals on this #MedalMonday! In celebration of the half marathon’s 10th anniversary, and the “Fairy Tale Challenge” (formerly known as the Glass Slipper Challenge), the medals this year represent the pantheon of Disney Princesses theme unlike ever before- I still believe the “Dream Big, Princess” campaign had a lot to do with the design decision-making! Let’s take a look:

Happy Labor Day weekend! This weekend marks the start of the runDisney 2017-2018 race calendar and we kicked things off with the Pixar-themed Disneyland Half Marathon. Congratulations to all runners who participated in the #DisneylandHalf race weekend! Despite the California heat wave with sizzlin’ hot race conditions I hope you all had an ‘Incredible’ weekend.
