Another year, another decade of runDisney! 2020 brings the promise of new experiences, challenges, and ways to prove to yourself that anything is possible. What better way to ring in the new year than runDisney’s Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend. Speaking from personal experience, it is the race of a lifetime. I am so excited for everyone who has been preparing and training for months. It is YOUR time.

I love runDisney races for so many reasons. If you’re here reading this, I’m sure you agree. Everything is super organized, well thought out, and has been prepared with the utmost care. As a former events planner, I can appreciate just how much time and labor goes into the herculean effort of organizing a race weekend. Particularly one in WDW where road closures, park openings, and special event times can be tricky. The run-of-show must be minute to minute, even second to second!

This year’s Wine & Dine half marathon weekend was one of the best runDisney race weekends I have ever experienced. Tommy and I had a blast! I love the fall season at Disney, and I love that this race perfectly complements the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival. Will run for Disney (food!)

You’ve been training hard all summer and you’ve likely already booked your accommodations, flights, dining reservations, and FP+s. It won’t be long now until you are in Walt Disney World Resort!

I ran the 2016 Wine & Dine Half Marathon and had a blast. I can’t wait to run again this year as a Two Course Challenge-er. Whether this is your first Wine & Dine weekend or you’re a “Perfect” Wine & Dine-r, you are bound to have a fun, festive race and celebratory post-race party!
