I hope everyone who traveled to Disneyland for the Disneyland Half Marathon Weekend returned home safely and had a magical trip. I’d like to try and make it out there next year! To all my Florida friends, let’s hope this hurricane goes away quickly and with minimal damage.

I hope everyone is having a great late-August. I spent the weekend at our family’s lake house and had a sunny, relaxing weekend. I’m attempting to soak up every last bit of summer!
Can you believe the Disneyland Half Marathon Weekend is NEXT WEEK!? I don’t know about you, but I’m ready for the runDisney 2017-2018 calendar to begin! Also happening next week is the opening of Epcot’s International Food & Wine Festival and the first Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party of the season! In the meantime, here’s what you may have missed last week:

We’re down to the last few weeks of summer! The days are getting (subtly) shorter, but there’s still plenty of time to get that runDisney training run done in the morning or evening. In another #MedalMonday feature, runDisney unveiled the 2017 Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend Medals for November! This design is a complete departure (see what I did there? World Showcase? Travel? hehe) from prior years, and are designed to look like travel items, such as passports and luggage tags.
