Princesses! Who is getting excited for the 2018 Princess Half Marathon 10th Anniversary Weekend – Presented by Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals!? We’re officially TWO WEEKS away from race weekend. First time Princess? Or Perfect Princess? Either way you are going to have a magical time, full of smiles, miles and memories. The end of 2017 is nigh! I can’t believe it’s already that time of year- a time of reflection, gratitude, and bracing oneself for the peak of winter. Instead of “resolutions” I prefer to look at my year’s accomplishments, and goals for the New Year. I was looking at my 2016-2017 goals and accomplishments post and can’t believe how far I’ve come in the past year with my running journey. It’s amazing how one step, one run, one week, one month, adds up to goals I never thought possible.

Disney Parks Blog just unveiled the 2018 Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend medals on this #MedalMonday! In celebration of the half marathon’s 10th anniversary, and the “Fairy Tale Challenge” (formerly known as the Glass Slipper Challenge), the medals this year represent the pantheon of Disney Princesses theme unlike ever before- I still believe the “Dream Big, Princess” campaign had a lot to do with the design decision-making! Happy Labor Day weekend! This weekend marks the start of the runDisney 2017-2018 race calendar and we kicked things off with the Pixar-themed Disneyland Half Marathon.
