runDisney news November 13-November 19, 2017

Hi everyone! It’s hard to believe 2017 is winding down, but we have so much to look forward to this holiday season, at Disney Parks, and at home with friends and family. Wishing you all a joyous kickoff to the holiday season with Thanksgiving on Thursday! And if you have an upcoming trip to Disney, congratulations! It is sure to be even more magical. As for runDisney news, not much has happened in the past week, as we eagerly anticipate some medal reveals for Princess Half and Dark Side Half, but I think those will come soon! In the meantime, here’s what you may have missed:

Christmas in Walt Disney World

If you’re heading to Walt Disney World to celebrate the holidays, lucky you! If you’re not, you can live vicariously through this post and then save your money for a future trip- there is no better time to visit! Of course the closer you get to Christmas and New Year’s Eve, the crazier things get as far as attendance, but everyone should experience the magic of Christmas at Disney. It helps that the holiday season starts now, so we have plenty of time to celebrate! I’ll go location by location and outline my favorite Christmas must-dos while you’re there.

“That’s A Wrap!” – the 2017 runDisney season is officially over. Congratulations to all who participated in the whirlwind back-to-back race weekends at Walt Disney World’s Disney’s Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend Presented by MISFIT and the Disneyland Super Heroes Half Marathon Weekend this past weekend! Believe it or not, the next race weekend is the Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend Presented by Cigna, kicking off the 2018 season! GAH! I am so excited. For now, here’s the latest runDisney news:

Hi Friends! I still can’t believe it’s November!! The Epcot International Food & Wine Festival is coming to a close and the holidays are right around the corner. Disney Parks are magically transforming from Halloween to Christmas! This is definitely my favorite time of year. Apologies for not posting last week: I was celebrating Halloween in Walt Disney World! In case you missed it, here’s the latest runDisney news from the last two weeks:

Will Run for Disney’s October Trip to Walt Disney World

Hi Friends!

As I mentioned in my last post, Tommy and I just got back from our Halloween/late October trip to Walt Disney World! Last year after the Wine & Dine Half Marathon we vowed to take a fall trip this year in order to experience Halloween and go to Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. While I consider myself a WDW expert, I had never actually attended the halloween festivities before (and had to change that ASAP!) Here’s a highlight reel of our adventures with pictures:
